Onam Celebrations 2015
At Devi Clinical Laboratory, we recently celebrated the joyous festival of Onam with great enthusiasm, bringing together our team in a spirit of tradition and togetherness. The event was a beautiful reflection of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and an opportunity for everyone to engage in festivities with warmth and cheer.
A Vibrant Start with Pookalam
The celebration began with the creation of an intricate Pookalam (floral rangoli), a symbol of prosperity and happiness. Our team members actively participated in designing and arranging colorful flower petals, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The stunning floral artwork at the entrance set the perfect festive tone for the day.
Traditional Attire & Festive Spirit
To honor the cultural significance of Onam, our staff dressed in traditional Kerala sarees and mundu, adding elegance to the occasion. The graceful white and gold sarees worn by our female staff members and the traditional attire of the male employees created a visually striking and festive atmosphere. The excitement and joy among the team were evident as they embraced the true spirit of the festival.
Onam Sadhya: A Feast to Remember
A highlight of the celebration was the grand Onam Sadhya, a traditional feast served on banana leaves. The meal included an array of authentic Kerala delicacies such as sambar, avial, olan, thoran, and the delicious payasam. The team relished the feast together, sharing laughter and stories while enjoying the traditional flavors of Kerala.
A Celebration of Unity & Culture
The Onam celebration at Devi Clinical Laboratory was more than just an event—it was a cherished moment of unity, appreciation, and cultural pride. The joyous gathering strengthened the bonds among our team members and reinforced the importance of preserving traditions even in a professional setting.
We take pride in fostering a workplace that values both professional excellence and cultural heritage. The memories of this Onam celebration will be cherished, and we look forward to many more such vibrant festivities in the future!
